Leech therapy exists since thousands of years without a break, from ancient times (India, Egypt, China) on all over the world.
In 19 century was boom of leech therapy. The hirudo medicinalis –one of 3 useful kinds was so popular that it almost disappeared from
nature and now is protected by low.
In 80 years British scientists and doctors started to develop biological farms, and medical leeches are bred in a special conditions under control.
Today the benefits and mysterious acting of leeches to humans are confirmed by scientists and modern medicine.
It is a real gift of nature, people call leeches “small doctors” and scientists “small laboratory”...in fact leech’s saliva contains:
hirudin, bdelines, eglines, destabilase, collagenase, hyaluronidase, lipase...above 150 biological active substances and it is not end of discoveries.
Some of the doctors and therapists notice acting of the leeches for human energy system (meridian system). Leeches sort out energy system,
which is upset and this is main reason of disease or pain. Like acupuncture, meditation or other energetic influence can bring recovery-

1. Therapy
1. Rules
-every leech is from biological farm, is used once only (every next is new) for first session are applied
Free interview before
- don’t wet applied place in 24hours
- keep main bandage to next day (min 10-12hours)
2. Session
-preparing place for applying the leeches, they stay up to drop off its:
how long, it depends on the person, in which place is applied, minimum 20min, average above one hour
and even more than 2 hours. It is possible to break it (if it is necessary).
Break between sessions: 2 – 7 days
how many sessions in therapy: depends on disease and person.
How many leeches per session: depends on disease, place and person (from 1to even dozen or so, average: 4-6.
Even in difficult case clinic result is after 5th session, permanent pain or sleeplessness can disappear after 2nd or 3rd session.
Bite of the leech: is felt by patient like mosquito bite, in the same time leech saliva gives painkiller,
which stops him from feeling pain ...and gives hormones of lucky, it brings relax.
